Highway 6, First Avenue is busiest intersection
"I've been here 14 years and one of the reasons I established here was because I knew there would be a lot of traffic," said Horan, who owns Fast Photo and Horan Studio at 89 Second St. in Coralville.

In fact, an average of 107,500 cars pass through the First Avenue and Highway 6 intersection every day, making it the busiest in the county, according to statistics by the Iowa Department of Transportation.

In fact, it is so busy that it outpaces the next busiest intersection - Burlington Street and Riverside Drive - by some 10,000 vehicles a day. Burlington Street and Riverside Drive have a daily count of 97,800, according to the DOT.

>>Man, I hate that road.

GOP puts kids first

The GOP is masking convention fundraising as a kid's charity. Won't little Timmy get mad when he hears George Jr. will be getting those box seats and yacht cruises instead of him.

Saving this for later so I don't forget

Tomacco

Art imitates life.

A Simpsons fan has created the highly addictive fruit (not vegetable), Tomacco. See what you can do when you really put your mind to it. Now to create those hover-bikes.
