How much more inspirational can you get than that picture right there? I'm amazed by the fact that these guys were able to work withing their means and create what they did. They knew their limitations, money and failure-prone equipment, and were able to design around it. While I'm sure this isn't the only case of someone doing such a thing it's definitely the most dramatic. This gives me hope that some day I too can eventually create something huge and useful from very little. It's the DIY ethic on steroids.
