Lala.com: A place to grow your music

This seems really interesting, streaming albums on-demand for free. Seems to be in the same vein as pandora with a bit heavier retail twist. I'll have to give this a try in the office tomorrow.

Movable Type 4.0 Beta Launches, Platform To Be Open Sourced

I'm very excited about this. This site is built on movable type and I must say that I really enjoy the 3.x version of movable type and I can't wait to see what 4.x can do. I've found that creating entries and templates are very intuitive and creating entirely new blogs is a pretty simple endeavor. I love being able to write things up and posting them to the site without having to worry about layout issues all the time so a CMS system is a must.

It's too bad they had to start licensing with version 3.0. I was using the system in the 2.0 days so I could have been affected by the license but this blog is for "personal" use so I'm still flying just under the radar, but the thought of having to start paying licensing in case things ever pick up is intimidating. I feel much better about things with this announcement.
